Vortex Events have co-organised 3 conventions for fans of Robin of Sherwood.

The RoS Legend Conventions took place in 2004 in Swindon, 2006 in Retford, and 2008 in Nottingham. They entertained an international assortment of RoS fans, raised a significant amount of money for our charities, and were a success for all concerned.

Bob Fischer describes his first impression of our 2006 convention in his book "Wiffle Lever to Full":

"The room is a riot of girlish giggles, heaving cleavages and tumbling tresses on excitingly bare shoulders."

In the near future we plan to present an expanded Robin Hood event, celebrating not just the definitive 1980s version of the Legend, but the array of big and small screen adaptations produced both before and since. Watch this space...
